As many basins onlap, basin outlines are subdivided according to how many basins onlap the basin in quation. Therefore a selection of all outlines classified as \"Simpson Basin\" from the categories \"B1\", \"B2\", \"B3\" and \"B4\" was used to obtain the entire basin outline. These outlines were then combined to form a single outline for the Simpson Basin.
