Metadata was not provided and has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme based on the known details at the time of acquisition.  \n\n\n\nThe Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) monitors and reports on the health and availability of Victoria's water resources through a number of programs and partnerships.  The Water Measurement Information System is the primary access point to search, discover, access and download surface water and groundwater monitoring data collected by DELWP and its partners.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nFurther information about water quality and water quantity can be found at http://data.water.vic.gov.au/monitoring.htm\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nCollecting information about groundwater has been occurring for many decades. Numerous resources have been written about the general process.
