The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThe location of coal bore holes in the QLD area of Clarence-Moreton region.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nDisplay the distribution of mineral occurrences and the key characteristics of the mineralisation.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe data set is sourced from the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines 'Geoscience and Resources Database' (GRDB), a component of the MERLIN tenure and geoscience system. The data set contains information about operating coal mines in Queensland. These data are the location details from the COAL database.
