Metadata was not provided and has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme based on the known details at the time of acquisition. The National Water Initiative (NWI) is Australia's enduring blueprint for water reform. Through this initiative, governments across Australia have agreed on actions to achieve a more cohesive national approach to the way Australia manages, measures, plans for, prices, and trades water. The dataset (excel file) provides historic Available Water Determinations (referred to as allocation announcements under the Water Act 1912) for all regulated water sources in the Paterson River. The dataset (excel file) is downloaded from the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries - Water website (http://www.water.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/excel_doc/0003/548553/avail_water_accounting_wma_awd_summary_paterson.xls) Pre-water sharing plan announcements have been compiled in a single excel file.
