General Information
This dataset describes roles typically found in the Australian Public Service, on which many jobs in various agencies are based. The attributes included in this dataset are described in the Explainer document.
Change Log
- The Jan. 2023 release includes Data roles provided by the Data Profession.
- The 14 Mar 2023 upload restores Data roles and Workforce planner roles removed by previous March upload.
- The Jun 2023 release includes more role descriptions and more aliases.
- The Feb 2024 release includes AI roles.
- 18 Apr 2024 - Minor name change Software Engineer > Software Engineer (Developer)
- 17 Feb 2025 - Tidying up of data, adding in semi-colons to separate alias names.
- 16 Apr 2025 - Correct formatting issue (no change to data)
- 25 May 2025 - Restore Software Engineer (Developer) title accidentally removed in last update
