The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.


This Groundwater Preliminary Assessment Extent (PAE) for the Galilee subregion shows the extent in which groundwater could potentially be affected by coal seam gas and coal mining within the Galilee subregion.

## **Dataset History** 

This version of the Galilee subregion groundwater PAE was defined as follows:

- 20km buffer of the Galilee subregion (from the Bioregional Assessment areas v01 dataset, GUID: 0fd0d820-30b3-451f-a126-a50040426999) from the east to the north of the Galilee subregion.

- Eromanga basin boundary (from the Australian Geological Provinces, v02 dataset, GUID: 13ad6933-ee80-4c51-a97b-bac1e8bef16d) from the north to the west of the Galilee subregion, 

- 200km buffer of the Galilee subregion (from the Bioregional Assessment areas v01 dataset, GUID: 0fd0d820-30b3-451f-a126-a50040426999) from the west to the south of the Galilee subregion.

- Eromanga basin (from the Australian Geological Provinces, v02 dataset, GUID: 13ad6933-ee80-4c51-a97b-bac1e8bef16d) from the south to the east of the Galilee subregion.
