Explore up-to-date information on in-demand and emerging jobs in Victoria. Over the next 3 years, around 392,000 new workers are expected to enter the Victorian labour market. This includes 168,000 workers in new jobs and 224,000 workers to replace retiring workers. These new workers will be in addition to the 3.7 million workers already in Victoria. The Employment Projections Dashboard 2024-34 contains employment projections, demographic information and vocational education and training (VET) course data that supports the Victorian Skills Plan. Use the dashboard to access employment projections for the next 3 and 10 years by region, industry and occupation.
