                <gco:CharacterString>Place Names are all those names recorded in the Placenames Tasmania Nomenclature management system. This includes all names which have been approved by the Nomenclature Board of Tasmania together with street names assigned by Local Government and other names assigned by external organisations. Also included are many other cultural and walking track names, which although are unofficial, as they have not been assigned by the Board, are in common use and have been recorded for information.
