This layer shows core koala habitat areas (KHA) mapped for the South East Queensland (SEQ) Koala Conservation Strategy. Koalas are a threatened species under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and are therefore matters of state environmental significance (MSES) for the purposes of the State Planning Policy 2017 (SPP).
