The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) monitors South Australian airsheds in order to assess the air quality and provide information that can be used to guide management decisions. This data set contains validated meteorology data for the year 2024 for the Western Adelaide region in monthly files. Data was collected as 10 minute averages. Information provided is Ambient Temperature expressed in Degrees Celsius (°C), Total Solar Radiation values expressed in Watts per square metre (W/m2), Ambient Barometric Pressure expressed in Hectopascals (hPa), Wind Speed values expressed in metres per second (m/s), Wind Direction values expressed in Degrees (Deg), Dew Point values expressed in Degrees Celsius (°C , Relative Humidity values expressed in Percent (%), Wind Vector East/West values expressed in metres per second (m/s) & Wind Vector North/South values expressed in metres per second (m/s). Time is expressed as Time Ending Averages and in Australian Central Standard Time (ACST).

The Netley monitoring station was decommissioned on the 2nd June 2024. A new station will be established once a suitable location has been selected in the western suburbs of Adelaide.
