                <gco:CharacterString>The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is committed to delivering comprehensive, accessible, and timely waste and resource recovery data to inform industry, investor, and government investment and policy decision-making.

The National Waste and Resource Recovery Database 2024 provides data on Australia’s waste generation, including on the recovery and fate of all waste streams and various material categories from 2006-07 to 2022-23. The data is presented in a machine-readable format which is suitable for interrogation through Power BI or similar tools.
