The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThis datsets contains inferred stratigraphy logs from groundwater bores in the Clarence-Moreton bioregion in NSW. In the original groundwater database, only very few stratigraphic records existed.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis datsets contains inferred stratigraphy logs from groundwater bores in the Clarence-Moreton bioregion in NSW. In the original groundwater database, only very few stratigraphic records existed.\n\n\n\nTo compensate for this lack of stratigraphic data, an attempt was made to convert lithological logs into stratigraphic logs. This was done in an iterative process, whereby the lithological logs were imported into a 3D geological modelling software, and then gradually the stratigraphy was inferred from the lithologcial logs. \n\n\n\nThe detailed method is described in Raiber et al. (2016).
