This means, in ACT-wide cat containment areas, cats born on or after 1 July 2022 must be kept on your premises 24 hours a day. \n\nA number of suburbs across the ACT have been declared cat containment areas under the Domestic Animals (Cat Containment) Declaration 2019 (No 1) - Disallowable Instrument DI2019-33. This means  in these suburbs that were declared cat containment areas, all cats (regardless of age) must be contained to their premises 24 hours a day.\n\nThis is a non-asset dataset for information only.
