This dataset was derived from the Gloucester geological model. You can find a link to the parent dataset in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.\n\n\n\nThe data set contains the image in JPG format exported from the RMS Model for the Gloucester Basin.The image shows the surface topography in 3D with well locations and the Basin boundary.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nUsed to visualize the topographic surface used in the Gloucester geologic model.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe data set contains an image exported from the RMS model which uses the formatted three dimensional grid values built in the model. The model was built using data extracted from well completions reports published by mining companies and consultants which record the depth of various formations encountered during drilling works. These data were compiled into model input files (See data set: GLO Deep Well Locations and Depths of Formations V01 - e549473c-5b78-4279-8eeb-af86ca6522b3) used to build the RMS model.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) GLO RMS Model 3D image v01. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/8207c097-c560-467c-89c9-aa2fa951804e", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "POLYGON ((0 0, 0 0, 0 0, 0 0))", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2018-05-31 04:33:25", "title": "GLO RMS Model 3D image v01", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "New South Wales"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "tags": [{"display_name": "Gloucester subregion", "id": "32341543-27d4-497d-9ac3-7099d3931857", "name": "Gloucester subregion", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "New South Wales", "id": "e767d4c4-dcfe-4939-81a4-20cafa72d96e", "name": "New South Wales", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "elevation", "id": "a52a11ac-cb68-499b-bb3a-074478608e48", "name": "elevation", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "resources": [], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
