A railway can be heavy rails, light rail, monorail and heavy rail siding, for example a railway, tramway or monorail.This data is held and maintained within the Foundation Spatial Data Framework (FSDF) Transport theme and includes key attributes such as railway name and on-type (e.g onground, onbridge, intunnel etc).Data in Railway includes:Heavy Rail - A track or set of tracks of iron or steel rails used for the passage of trains.Heavy Rail Siding - A short branch off a railway track, often connected at both ends to the mainline track, and used for shunting or for loading, unloading, and storing goods trucks.
