The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThis dataset shows the electrical conductivity of basalt groundwaters within the Richmond River basin. The purpose of this dataset is to highlight the spatial variability of electrical conductivity as a representation of salinity.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset was created by selecting only those groundwater quality records from the source dataset for the bores within the Richmond River catchment that are screened within the basalt.\n\n\n\nThis dataset only includes the electrical conductivity, a representation of salinity, and the spatial locations. Electrical conductivity has not been recorded for all bores within the NSW groundwater database, and this dataset therefore consist on fewer records.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) CLM - Richmond river basalt Electrical Conductivity v01. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/e6457df0-71f9-4139-bd6e-d16558f3d3d7", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "POLYGON ((0 0, 0 0, 0 0, 0 0))", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2016-03-30 00:00:00", "title": "CLM - Richmond river basalt Electrical Conductivity v01", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "NONE"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "resources": [{"Description": "CSIRO Download Page", "cache_last_updated": null, "cache_url": null, "created": "2016-04-07T17:13:31.404643", "datastore_active": false, "datastore_contains_all_records_of_source_file": false, "description": "Data File", "format": "ZIP", "hash": "", "id": "757f91f8-8a31-4837-b915-9c311e6dbd97", "last_modified": "2016-04-08T00:00:00", "metadata_modified": "2022-04-13T06:47:06.741297", "mimetype": null, "mimetype_inner": null, "name": "CLM - Richmond river basalt Electrical Conductivity v01", "package_id": "deecf90c-4006-403f-8efb-7e022558fef4", "position": 0, "resource_type": null, "size": 0, "state": "active", "url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/deecf90c-4006-403f-8efb-7e022558fef4/resource/757f91f8-8a31-4837-b915-9c311e6dbd97/download/e6457df0-71f9-4139-bd6e-d16558f3d3d7.zip", "url_type": "upload", "zip_extract": false}], "tags": [{"display_name": "Clarence-Moreton bioregion", "id": "dba24ffe-9a2f-41f1-9fbb-49e4089c3341", "name": "Clarence-Moreton bioregion", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "geoscientificInformation", "id": "3e763a61-9b8d-4240-9db0-2a60b0a93912", "name": "geoscientificInformation", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
