The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the NSW Geoscientific Data Warehouse provided by the NSW Department of Trade and Investment. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.


This shapefile shows the coal exploration wells in NSW.

## **Dataset History** 

The source for the data is a shapefile downloaded from the NSW Geoscience Data Warehouse (see lineage). The original data set was downloaded from the NSW Geoscientific Data Warehouse. The data set was then clipped to the boundary of the Clarence-Moreton bioregion from the 'Bioregional Assessment areas v02' dataset (see Lineage).
