                <gco:CharacterString>## **Abstract** 

This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.


This dataset contains GIS points of registered groundwater bores within the Galilee subregion and Preliminary Assessment Extent (PAE) with ground elevation attribute appended for each point.

## **Dataset History** 

Ground elevation values from the Geoscience Australia, 1 second SRTM Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dataset (GUID: 9a9284b6-eb45-4a13-97d0-91bf25f1187b) were appended to the point features attribute table of the Galilee Groundwater Registration Bores QLD DNRM Database v01 dataset (GUID: f76460a7-8fc3-4b2c-b175-cc553f5719f2) using the Add Surface Information tool in the 3D Analyst toolbox of ArcCatalog. 


Ground elevation for each point is displayed in meters above the Australian Height Datum (mAHD) in the "Z" Attribute field of this dataset, 


Outtput is in File Geodatabase, point Feature Class and Tabular, MS Excel format.
