Damage Assessment and Reconstruction...

Queensland Reconstruction Authority conducted Damage Assessment and Reconstruction Monitoring (DARMSys) audits of residences in the Cassowary Coast and Hinchbrook Shire Council area following Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi, 2 February 2011. The event was a severe tropical cyclone which commenced on 2 February 2011 in North Queensland.

This dataset contains summary counts per Locality and Local Government Area of the damage severity of residences surveyed. 4 surveys were undertaken and all surveys are in the dataset (phase 1 June and September, 2011, phase 2 November, 2011, phase 3 February, 2012 and phase 4 May, 2012).
