Active legal instruments containing EPA Tasmania requirements relating to the premises are provided. These documents include Permit Conditions Environmental (PCEs), Environment Protection Notices (EPNs), Site Management Notices (SMNs), Remediation Notices (RNs), Investigation Notices (INs) and Environmental Licences (ELs). Permits issued by planning authorities are not shown but may be obtained by contacting the relevant Council. Permits issued under previous legislation are only displayed (as PCEs) when they have not been subsequently varied by an EPN. The spatial location for each site is represented by a single point, which has been selected to best represent the location of the regulated activity. Because of the broad and sometimes fragmented nature of some activities, the displayed location will not show the full extent of the activity. Data is auto-updated daily from EPA's regulatory database.
