This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the National Groundwater Information System (NGIS) v1.1 dataset. You can find a link to the parent datasets in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.

This dataset is an extract of all bores from the National Groundwater Information System (NGIS) v1.1 dataset which are spatially located within the Cooper subregion boundary.

Bores from the National Groundwater Information System (NGIS) v1.1 dataset (GUID: e157b1cd-3cb7-4cf9-a13c-a6bed576b8c7) where selected by location, based on the Cooper subregion boundary from the Bioregional Assessment areas v04 dataset (GUID: e8a2d577-c5c5-4e2c-b0fa-53e4b2d4a034), and extracted to a new shapefile.
