ACTGOV RFMP - Grazing

Created 21/12/2025

Updated 21/12/2025

This dataset displays the position and extents of areas that have been identified as grazing areas in the RFMP 2019-28. Grazing involves the use of cattle, sheep, horses or other animals to eat and compact fuels. Grazing is usually only applied in grasslands because it is less effective in other vegetation types. Grazing may be undertaken throughout the year or for short periods when the grass is growing. Infrastructure such as fencing and water sources are required before an area can be grazed.
