ACTGOV RFMP - Physical Removal

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/06/2025

This dataset displays the position and extents of areas that have been identified as Physical Removal areas in the RFMP 2019-28. Physical removal involves using hand tools, power tools or machinery to remove or change the structure of the vegetation. This usually involves removing or thinning shrubs and thinning and pruning trees. Debris created by physical removal may be piled and burnt, chipped on site or removed from the site. Physical removal is usually only undertaken in small areas, but may be undertaken more widely in areas such as pine plantations.
