Busselton Jetty - Temperature logger

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/06/2025

The operation of the Busselton Jetty is managed by a community-run, not-for-profit organisation, the Busselton Jetty Environment and Conservation Association (BJECA). From 2001, hourly water temperatures have been collected at about 4m depth using self-recording temperature loggers which are accurate to +- 0.2 Degrees Celsius. In 2011, at the end of the Busselton Jetty a temperature sensor was also installed and will shortly be operational by CSIRO to provide a real-time feed of the water temperature. The sensor is located 5m below sea level at low tide
