Abstract

The dataset was compiled by the Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program from multiple sources referenced within the dataset and/or metadata. The data is a subset of wetlands with known or moderate to high probability of being groundwater dependent ecosystems (GDEs) as listed in the GDE Atlas (Bureau of Meteorology, 2017)

History

This dataset was created by clipping the parent dataset (National Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDE) Atlas) in ESRI ArcGIS software to the area immediately surrounding the Beetaloo GBA region. The resulting data contains wetlands with known or moderate to high probability of being groundwater dependent ecosystems (GDEs) as listed in the GDE Atlas.
