South Australia is classified into areas of bushfire risk for the purpose of supporting the Electricity (Principles of Vegetation Clearance) Regulations 2010 under the Electricity Act 1996. Areas are classified by fire risk as follows: - A RISK_LEVEL value of ‘FIRE RISK’ identifies an area described as ‘bushfire risk area’ under the Regulations. - A RISK_LEVEL value of ‘NO FIRE RISK’ identifies an area described as ‘non-bushfire risk area’ or ‘non-bushfire risk area (not prescribed)’ under the Regulations. - A RISK_LEVEL value of ‘PRESCRIBED NO FIRE RISK’ identifies an area described as ‘non-bushfire risk area’ and ‘prescribed area’ under the Regulations.
