The GAB boundary is from a published map - Habermehl., M.A. & Lau., J.E. 1997. Hydrogeology of the Great Artesian Basin Australia. 1: 2 500 000 Map. Australian Geological Survey Organisation, Canberra.The boundary was originally derived from the 1:250 000 scale Bureau of Mineral Resources Geological Map series. The current version was created by Matt Brooks in January 2001 from sources unknown. Polygon coverage of the GAB boundary was used in a November 1998 Resource study summary (available from: https://www.gabcc.org.au/tools/getFile.aspx?tbl=tblContentItem&id=94) and was most likely sourced from the GAB Technical Working Group.NOTE: This item refers to a dataset available under a Departmental Deed.
