This point dataset shows the locations of Bridges in the Australian Capital Territory. These assets are either owned or managed by City Services, Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS). Assets managed and / or owned privately, by other ACT Government Directorates or by the Federal Government may not be included.Attributes include location description, suburb, ownership, maintained by, asset type (Bridge, Culvert), asset sub type (Arch Bridge, Box Culvert, Cable Stayed Bridge, Cantilever Span Bridge, Concrete Slab, Culvert - Combination, Culvert Footbridge, Equestrian Ford, Footbridge, Girder Continuous, Girder Simply Supported, Light Rail Bridge, Pipe Culvert, Road Bridge, Steel Pipe Culvert, Stock Movement Tunnel, Truss Bridge, Vehicle Tunnel), function, materials, lengths, span numbers, crossing details, clearance details, joints and bearing details.These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the works as executed (WAE) handover process or field audits.For additional information, please see the relevant municipal infrastructure standard (https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/plan-and-build/standards-codes-and-guidelines/municipal-infrastructure-design-standards-mis).
