Exploration of the Perth Canyon and assessing the vulnerability of deep-sea corals to climate change and ocean acidification – water column chemistry data, March 2015

This data represents seaborne casts made off the Schmidt Ocean Institute vessel R/V Falkor on a cruise investigating deep sea coral living in the Perth Canyon led by Chief Investigator Prof. Malcolm McCulloch of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at the University of Western Australia. The cruise (#FK150301) began on the 1st of March and ended on the 12th of March, 2015. Each cast was made to different maximum depths depending on location within and around the canyon. The exact time (local WST) and location (Lat/Lon in decimal degrees and informal site name) are provided with each data set. Each cast consists of water column chemistry data taken from laboratory analyses on water samples collected from the rosette bottles.
