DNA sequence and SNP data for species of 'Conyza' (Erigeron, Asteraceae) introduced to Australia

Created 20/09/2025

Updated 20/09/2025

Target capture sequencing was conducted on 48 specimens of five putative species of 'Conyza' presumed to be introduced to Australia: Erigeron bilbaoanus (= floribundus), Erigeron canadensis, Erigeron pusillus (= canadensis var pusillus, or Conyza parva), Erigeron bonariensis, and Erigeron sumatrensis, to clarify species boundaries and which entities occur in Australia. The data collection contains the concatenated supermatrix of sequence data used for likelihood phylogenetics, gene trees used for two-step coalescent analysis, the phylogenetic trees in Newick format, VCF files of SNP variants, and the geno file used for sNMF analysis. Raw reads will be published in a sequence read archive.
