Overview

The fish monitoring analysis that underpinned the Basin Plan Evaluation 2020 drew predominately on annual fish monitoring sampling data, from the Murray--Darling Basin Fish Survey (MDBFS) program. Fish sampling data has been collected from fixed-site locations across four basin states, which includes a broad range of fish species.

The sourcing of this data was done predominately through the MDBFS data services provided through contract agreements with Basin states.

A range of products have been developed and released as part of the Basin Plan Evaluation 2020.
