Created 25/06/2025

Updated 25/06/2025

This dataset contains audio files from Great Western Woodland SuperSite. The site was established in 2012 in Credo Conservation Park. The site is in semi-arid woodland and was operated as a pastoral lease from 1907 to 2007. The core 1 ha plot is characterised by Eucalyptus salmonophloia (salmon gum), with Eucalyptus salubris, Eucalyptus transcontinentalis and Eucalyptus clelandiorum dominating other research plots. For additional site information, see Great Western Woodlands SuperSite

In 2020 four acoustic recorders were set up to collect audio data continuously as part of the Australian Acoustic Observatory (A2O) project. Two recorders were placed in relatively wet habitats and two in relatively dry habitats.
