A NAP funded project headed by the NRM North to delineate the major Groundwater Flow Systems in the Northern Midlands, Southern Midlands and NAP part of Clarence municipalities at 1: 100,000. The maps forms part of the larger project (and report) to prioritise the GFS's and provide management options for dealing with salinity with the GFS framework. This project classified the landscape into 13 hydrogeological classes (related to salinity management). Conceptual diagrams of the GFS's also appear on the paper map and are also contained and described in the report.
