HACC MDS Annual Bulletin

The following publications contain information about the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program, particularly in relation to its clients, their characteristics and the services they receive. The information about HACC services provided in all states and territories is summarised by financial year.

From 2012/13, statistics are presented by client cohort. Following the implementation of the HACC Reforms from 1 July 2012, the statistics in most tables are presented in three distinct cohorts:

  • Older HACC clients (clients aged 65 years or more, plus Indigenous HACC clients aged 50-64)

  • Younger HACC clients (clients aged 0-49, plus non-Indigenous HACC clients aged 50-64 and client with unknown Indigenous status aged 50-64)

  • All HACC clients
