The location of historical features and structures in use or derelict, such as previous mining/primary industry infrastructure, significant trees, art, archaeological, artifacts, buildings, lighthouses, places, shipwrecks, walking tracks and significant collections such as furniture, cutlery, ceramics and crockery as depicted in the PWS Asset Management System (AMS). Much of the data has been sourced from the previous Tasmanian Heritage Places Inventory (THPI) and may not be accurately located. Some heritage features are dual use, such as for visitors. These features are also included in the Buildings (PWS) layer. Infrastructure is mostly on reserved and crown land. Features on other land tenures may be included as they are of strategic interest to PWS.
