IMOS FAIMMS Sensor Network data - Lizard Island Weather Station Hail - From 13 Aug 2010 To 06 Oct 2017

The 'Facility for Automated Intelligent Monitoring of Marine Systems' (FAIMMS) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the FAIMMS Great Barrier Reef Sensor Network and contains data from the following sensor deployments:

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Hail Intensity from 13 Aug 2010 through to 23 Feb 2012, and the installation was located at/on Lizard Island Weather Station Latitude:-14.6915 - Longitude:145.466417. Sensor deployed was a Vaisala WXT510/WXT520 Weather Transmitter manufactured by Vaisala, model WXT510. The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'Lizard Island Weather Station Hail Intensity in hits per square centimetre per hour: Vaisala WXT520 Weather Transmitted D4210001'.
