IMOS SOOP Underway Data from AIMS Vessel RV Cape Ferguson Trip 4725 From 15 Feb 2009 To 28 Feb 2009

'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Cape Ferguson Trip 4725.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 4725 from 15 Feb 2009 through to 28 Feb 2009, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 4725 from 15 Feb 2009 through to 28 Feb 2009, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 4725 from 15 Feb 2009 through to 28 Feb 2009, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38.
