Mapping Djelk Sea Country and Arnhem Marine Park

This project is a partnership between the Bawinanga Rangers (Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation), the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS), and Charles Darwin University (CDU) with the objective to protect and conserve the ecological and cultural values in the Arnhem AMP and Djelk IPA through documenting Bawinanga Traditional Owner knowledge of Djelk sea country. Areas identified as of high ecological importance within the marine park will be surveyed using western science methods.
