A Pedestrian Crossing or crosswalk is a designated point on a road at which some means are employed to assist pedestrians wishing to cross. Usually a transverse strip marked on the carriageway together with associated signs & devices &/or traffic signals at which a pedestrian crossing the carriageway has right-of-way over vehicular traffic under appropriate circumstances. This layer shows the location of Pedestrian Crossings on the State Road Network and is provided for information only.Note that you are accessing this data pursuant to a Creative Commons (Attribution) Licence which has a disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability.
