This dataset contains the 16 National Landscape areas - as defined by the staff in the Planning, Tourism and National Landscapes Section (PTNL Section) within the Parks Australia Division.CC - Attribution (CC BY) This data has been licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia Licence. More information can be found at http://www.ausgoal.gov.au/creative-commons.

These boundaries are indicative only and should only be used for mapping purposes at a scale of 1:500 000 or smaller. Users must attribute the Department of the Environment and Energy as the data provider. On 27 March 2014 the National Landscapes downloadable data was requested by Parks Australia to be removed until boundary issues are resolved.
