Office of Finance and Services Annual Report 2014/15

The Office of Finance and Services is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government.

It is responsible for supporting sustainable government finances, major public works and maintenance programs, government procurement, information and communications technology, corporate and shared services, consumer protection, administration of State taxation and revenue collection, NSW land and property administration services. OFS also supported the Minister for Finance and Services to act as a shareholder in public energy utilities and the superannuation portfolio.

On 2 April 2015 pursuant to Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—Ministers) Order 2015 the Minister for Finance and Services became the Minister for Finance, Services and Property. Also effective from 2 April 2015, the Fair Trading portfolio ceased to be a separate portfolio and is now included in the portfolio of the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation.
