The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is proposing to upgrade the Pacific Highway between Brunswick and Yelgun (refer Figure 1.1). The proposal which is part of the Pacific Highway upgrade program involves the duplication of the existing Brunswick Heads Bypass, construction of a new bridge over the Brunswick River and the upgrading of the Pacific Highway between Brunswick River and Yelgun. The proposal has been developed to address road safety and traffic performance concerns.
