NSW Budget 2022- 2023 Where the money goes This is a budget for the people of our great State, delivering more than ever before on the things that matter: health, education, roads and transport, support for families, help for those who need it most, and the right conditions for businesses to grow. Where the money comes from The Government is working hard to keep New South Wales the best place to live, work and do business. Tax, dividends and other revenue collected by the Government helps support our schools, hospitals, police and other essential services. 1 . Mapping the Budget is sourced from Budget Paper No. 3 - Infrastructure Statement. Please note locations are approximate and some projects are unable to be shown on the map. 2. Expenditure and revenue charts are sourced from Budget Paper No 1. Budget Statement. 3. “Where the Money Goes” presents recurrent expenses using the Classification of the Functions of Government (CoFOG) framework. 4.
