Saltwater Intrusion Vulnerability Assessment-Tweed River Estuary

Created 16/09/2025

Updated 16/09/2025

This asset relates to the Tweed River and consists of the outputs from hydrodynamic modelling undertaken by the University of New South Wales Water Research Laboratory (WRL) to investigate changes in salinity dynamics under sea level rise.
Three different sea level scenarios were modelled, a present-day sea level, a sea level increase of 0.20 m and an increase of 0.55 m.
This asset comprises the full technical report written by WRL, timeseries data for each model scenario run, and all the run files required to re-run the model using RMA software.
