Planning and Design Code Subzones

Created 20/12/2025

Updated 20/12/2025

The Planning and Design Code (P&D Code) Subzones are areas within a zone where there is an exceptional unique difference from the zone to warrant the need for additional policy in the P&D Code under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (PDI Act 2016). P&D Code Subzones represent the spatial boundaries that provide additional guidance for development on 'what' can happen in an area.

The data is updated fortnightly and can be viewed in the South Australian Property and Planning Atlas (SAPPA).
