The EM-APEX quality control (QC) toolbox provides a framework to quality control CTD and velocity data and calibrate velocity data collected from Electromagnetic Autonomous Profiling Explorer (EM-APEX) floats. The toolbox is developed based on float data collected from multiple deployments in the Southern Ocean (2016, 2018, 2020) and southeast Indian Ocean (2013). The EM-APEX data collected from the Southern Ocean in 2018 and 2020 have been quality controlled using this toolbox and is available here. Detailed description of the data quality control procedures is provided in the document ‘EM-APEX QC manual.pdf’.
