These data were collected as part of voyage 3 of the RSV Nuyina during the 2024-2025 season. The voyage was colloquially known as the "Denman Marine Voyage", as it operated in the vicinity of the Denman Glacier. As the voyage was the first major scientific voyage of the RSV Nuyina, a number of scientific projects were carried out on board, and additional datasets were collected. Details about these datasets can be found at the linked metadata records. Scientific and underway data for the Nuyina's navigational, meteorological and oceanographic systems. This data was collected between 28th of February 2025 and 1st of May 2025 during the 202425030 voyage. The data is organised using a file directory structure with the system/instrument as the top level directory followed by folders for the raw data (raw). Where it is available processed data (proc), and instrument and calibration documentation (doc) are included. The Denman Glacier and related ice shelf system represent a poorly understood region of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet, with potential for significant global impacts. It is presently considered one of the fastest retreating glacier systems in East Antarctica, with the potential to contribute more than 1.5 m rise to global sea-levels. The work undertaken on the Denman Marine voyage will integrate with the research undertaken during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 Denman Terrestrial Campaigns to deliver a comprehensive, integrated scientific understanding of the Denman glacier and adjacent marine environment.
