This data was collected to assess the impact of a saline wastewater discharge outlet from a power station that commenced discharging in mid 1983. Infaunal samples were collected from an impacted location (McGaurans Beach) and 2 control locations at Woodside Beach at depths of 3 to 15m. There were five sites within each location and each site was sampled annually from 1982 to 1986. This sampling covered 15km of coastline near 90 Mile Beach and lay within the stretch of coastline covered by the Latrobe Valley Ocean Outfall (LVOO) program.
