Savage River magnetic survey, Tasmania 1960

This record describes a detailed ground magnetic survey made by the Bureau of Mineral Resources ever part of the area of the Savage River iron deposits. The purpose of the survey was to delineate more accurately the magnetic anomalies revealed by the previous surveys and hence to assist the Tasmanian Department of Mines in selecting drilling sites.
