Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Contract Regions

This dataset shows the boundaries of the contract regions for the delivery of the SEE program. SEE program providers deliver training in specified contract regions across the country. The contract regions are based on the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) which provides a framework of statistical areas used by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and other organisations to enable the publication of statistics that are comparable and spatially integrated. The SEE program also employs a distance service provider that provides training to all regions and is available to clients who either cannot attend face to face training or where no local face to face service provision is available.

It should be noted that contract regions are set each contract period which is currently is three years and can be extended up to six years or as required.
